Vanilla Lily cakes are dessert style cakes that cater for your special occasion. Lovingly baked, layered, brushed with syrup and filled before being decorated to your custom design. Only the finest local and imported ingredients are used, sourced from quality suppliers such as Black Pearl Epicure and include Valrhona (France) and Callebaut (Belgium) chocolate, Madagascar Pure Bourbon Vanilla, fresh vanilla beans and free range eggs.
Mix and match your cake flavour with ganache, infusions, curds and buttercreams from the menu below to create a custom gourmet flavour to suit your occasion.

Should you wish to choose a filling for your cake, the cake & cupcake flavours below show suggested fillings that would suit your cake flavour. The fillings menu can be found below. Further all cakes are only layered with ganache (see ganache menu below) the buttercream menu is for cupcakes only.

cake & cupcake flavours (layered and filled with ganache)

* Gourmet Muds
  All made with Callebaut (Belgium) chocolate and Valrhona

 (France) cocoa.
  Dark, milk, white, caramel, espresso, hazelnut.
  Suggested fillings: salted caramel, hazelnut praline, orange
  curd, raspberry curd.

* Vanilla Bean
  Fluffy moist butter cake with fresh madagascan vanilla beans
  and a double dose of Madagascan pure bourbon vanilla.
  Suggested fillings: any filling listed in the filling menu
  below would suit this flavour.

* Orange & Almond
  Ground almonds and fresh navel oranges.
  Caters for the gluten intolerant.
  Suggested fillings: orange curd.

* Madagascan Caramel Crunch
  Sweet caramel butter cake filled with home made caramelised
  sugar syrup and paillette feuilletine.
  Suggested fillings: caramel mousse, salted caramel,
  marscarpone & rum cream and baileys irish cream.

* Valrhona Chocolate
  Fluffy and rich butter cake made with Valrhona cocoa and
  whipped sour cream.
  Suggested fillings: raspberry curd, marscarpone & rum cream,
  baileys irish cream.

* Southern red velvet
  Brilliant red, fluffy and moist made with Valrhona cocoa.

* Banana sour cream
  Rich and moist cake with fresh bananas and whipped sour cream.
  Suggested fillings: caramel mousse.

* Fleur De Sel Chocolate 
  Rich milk chocolate mud cake filled with oozing fleur de sel 
  salted caramel.

* Coconut
  Moist and fluffy coconut butter cake made with golden syrup and
  toasted coconut. Recommended: Malibu infused syrup.
  Suggested fillings: caramel mousse, salted caramel, marscarpone
  & rum cream.

Dark, milk, white, caramel, orange (cupcakes only), strawberry (cupcakes only), all made with Callebaut chocolate.

fillings
Fillings can be added to any of the above cake flavours for both cakes and cupcakes.
Curds (lemon, orange, passionfruit, raspberry, mango), fresh seasonal berries, caramel mousse, salted caramel, blueberry cream, marscarpone & rum cream, baileys irish mousse, paillette feuilletine, hazelnut praline.
All fillings are made fresh to order.
